Loved, Adored and Terribly Missed by

To Our Beloved Girl, Kricket,

Where do I start?  We miss you so much.  You were my girl…who followed me everywhere!  You thought bathroom time was a good time for belly rubs!  You lay at my feet during my endless hours of studying, either under my computer desk or in the chair with me.  I miss that so much.  You loved to go for walks on the trails and you did such a good job pulling your cart!  Grandma always said you were a natural!  I loved the day that you pulled little Elizabeth on the cart through the Troutdale parade!  You were such a special girl…everyone loved you.  Your heart was a heart of gold.  You loved your kids and looked out for them.  They miss you so much, too.  Warren misses wrestling with you.  I miss your presence.  The house is not the same without you here.  Your memory will live on forever in our hearts.  I would not trade one day with you, to avoid this loss.   When we let ourselves love deeply, the loss hurts.  The deep love, by far, outweighs the hurt.  We love you so much, Kricketannie.  Godspeed.  Someday…we will meet again.

“I would rather have a short time of something beautiful than a lifetime of nothing special.”
